I can tell you who had the worst year...

John Chayka. Destroyed on trades. Handed out awful contracts. Terrible at drafting, despite cheating, getting caught, and now the franchise is severely punished with lost draft picks. Then quit before getting fired.

Honorable mention to Dubas who was destroyed on Kadri for Barrie and Kerfoot. Then watched his terribly-constructed roster fail to make the playoffs.

Poor Tanner. Both his heros became zeros.

Sakic. But I think Fitz/Shero made out like bandits when they sold a bunch of rentals for a plethora of prospects/picks. But since teams with bad seasons don't qualify, hands down Sakic.

Honerable mention to Chuck Fletcher, who has essentially secured his well rounded lineup at a reasonable cap hit. Not easy to do right now.
