So MP thinks that’s a fair trade for Boring Sean Monahan and also thinks the Flames should throw in Bennett, just because.
I can tell you Monahan was a 6th oa pick and leads his draft class in goals. Bennett was the best Flames forward in the playoffs, so let’s throw him in as well. Buffalo gives up the 8th oa pick, and defensive liability Risto, and who? Pilut? Pilot? Perhaps Mickey you should be the one taking 25% pay cut. That trade is pure garbage for Calgary and would surely get Treliving fired.
How about Flames 1st for Rhino?

If it makes you feel better Josh Tebow-Newton is still better than Darnold, Mayfield, and Rosen.
- Pegullaville

I think it's a testament to the leadership of McBeane that Allen is as good as he is. I think darnold and especially Mayfield would be incredible with the Bills instead of them being with the disasters that are the Jets and Browns.

That said, i think your Bronco goggles are preventing you from seeing that Allen is more than "a slightly better tebow"

I wouldn’t be discrediting anyone’s defensive metrics while boasting about Monahan, even Ristos, just sayin.

I wish Pegula would sell the damn Bills. Stop giving any attention to things other than the Sabres. This team is supposed to not have any restraints. “If I need money I will drill a gas well”. Well drill it. This team has not won a playoff round since I was a junior in high school. I’m 30 now. Every year I watch basically every single game and go to as many as I can. This is my only team. If I would have known when Ennis scored the OT goal in game 5 that was going to be the last playoff win in over 10 years I would have fainted. This team needs to be bullied into going to 81mil. Pegula knew going in the well known saying “The NHL is where billionaires come to become millionaires”.

The Bills averaged 17 points on offence last season.

With a middle of the pack defence the Bills finish 6-10.

From top to bottom the Bills have a roster that can play with anyone in the AFC this season. The move to get Diggs was a good move even though they gave up a lot.

However, they need to lean more on the ground game and Josh needs to stop turning the ball over.

He is who he is at this point, an average NFL QB. However as long as he doesn’t hurt the team they can do some damage this year.

I think your Bills goggles are underestimating the impact of the defence and running game had on the overall team success and are overrating your opinion on how good Josh is.

Career high yards and percentage. Perfect? No, better...yes. This team can win with him. We haven’t had that in a while. Second fumble was on Daboll.
- Bufsaints8

Opinions vary, but good lord almighty this is a horrible take...especially when the guy who did it has a very high fumble count in a short career.

I remain unimpressed...should have been 425 years and 4 touchdowns. He left alot of points on the field.
Expectations change in year 3.

Gents,

Seems we are pretty far off from finding any sort of common ground as far as trades go.

Not going to lie, not an expert at proposals.

Would you do Johnny Hockey ($6.75M) and Backlund ($5.35M) for Cousins, Okposo ($6M), and Risto (5.4M) and LHD prospect Pilut?

Buffalo gets out of 2 horrible contracts and gets a legit playmaker for Eichel and a good 2C.

Calgary gets their future 1C and a possible top 4 D in the future. You guys do not want to get rid of Cousins but by the time he is a force in the league Eichel could have demanded a trade.

Good luck in Football this season. Will be rooting for you.

Disagree. To say there's no room for growth is premature at best. He had his first 300 yard game today with a great completion %

Well everyone knew coming out of College that Josh still had a lot of growing to do, He still needs to grow and improve especially with turnovers. This game was closer then it should have been. He has things to clean up, and Daboll again needs to clean up his play calling. With no preseason they looked decent. Teams are gonna have problems with are WR's and passing game, it will only get better once the Oline gets better. As long as Josh cleans up a few throws, we will be a tough team to play. It was closer on the scoreboard then the game was, Buffalo dominated this game.

If not for the 2 Allen fumbles, there's a reasonable chance they would've been up 35-0. I'm not sure criticizing Daboll makes sense in that regard.

Why, don't like the QB runs he calls, don't want to take Josh's running away, but don't want him getting hurt either.

I agree this felt like a preseason game. Josh Allen definitely needs to clean the fumbles and the miss pass to brown.

The bills didn’t stretch the field at all. So I can’t really complain about deep ball accuracy.

I am guessing it was windier than we think.

Today's game revealed nothing.

Unless they lose, next week also means nothing.

We evaluate the Bills in week 3.

Yeah, you could tell with how much the Bill's Flag was moving. The thing is they really didn't need to stretch it. Gotta clean up the fumbles, can't have that during a close game.

Yup, I can’t judge Allen to say if he’s improved or not yet. That is still yet to be determined.

But hey. We won. I didn’t know what to expect NFL wise with all these games today.

We won a game we should have. There was better football then I expected. GB game was a good one, and what a Heartbreak for Detroit with Swift dropping that pass at the end.

This is why I wanted Roberts on the team:

Andre Roberts (5 punt returns, 69 yards, 1 kick return, 31 yards)

100 yards in the return game. That's huge. Well worth losing Foster or Duke.

I only listened. But he sounded great. Maybe special teams DOES matter. Now send Bass back out there to figure the wind at the stadium out. Kids got a leg, but 30 yard-ers should be about a chip shot for an nfl kicker

There was one especially big play where he fielded a punt at the 8 and brought it out to the 28. That's a massive difference.

As for Bass, not sure if you heard on the radio but it seems like his first "miss" may have actually been good. It went over the right upright. They showed it several times. I couldn't really tell

At this point, with the Sabres staring down a constricted barrel as a result of their self-imposed lean, efficient, economical internal budget ... I do not want to trade Cozens, nor the 2020-8OA. In fact, I wouldn't trade any upcoming draft picks at all given their situation.

Take this offseason to make a few KEY moves involving existing players only and augment by making a key FA signing ... and that's about it for the upcoming season...2 trades, 1 UFA signing.
Rinse repeat for next season

Allen needs to be better. See Russell Wilson’s game vs the falcons. Put a team away

Bro, the Jets were away at 7-0.
