am of the opinion that allen is what he is...gonna make some great plays, use his legs and he can really lead, as the team seems to fall in behind him...saw a comparison between him and donavan mcnabb and like they said, he doesn't have anywhere near the accuracy mcnabb had...the kid makes mistakes and has no where near the touch of a brees or brady...sometimes i think he doesn't realize his own arm strength and his over-excitement causes that ball to go far beyond where it should...

i keep coming back to a qb like bradshaw who didn't get off to the greatest start and wasn't considered a great qb by any stretch (using montana/peyton/brady/brees standards,) but was somehow right for the steelers...

is allen right for the bills?...it's to be determined but i'm not gonna nitpick him to death...he is what he is and is 16-12 as a bills starter

Gonna have to take the good with the bad with Allen, and hope as he grows the bad gets less and less. His teammates love him, and will battle for him. I think Daboll has to calm down on some of the QB runs, I don't want to take away his running, but don't want to see him get hurt.

I can understand the frustration to some extent.

The game was over at halftime and Allen set a career high. I was extremely happy with that.

However, the Jets might be the worst team in football. They also looked like a team that had zero interest being out there. I want to see this team drop scores in the high 30s on a team like that. Whether it was taking their foot off the gas, or Allen's mistakes preventing that, it didn't happen, and I found myself a little disappointed at that in the end. Maybe "disappointed" is the wrong word. Perhaps "underwhelmed" is more like it.

I am just being realistic, those mistakes could have really hurt us against a better team. The Jets have a good front 7, there secondary sucks, we won't have that against some teams. Allen had a good game, nobody is taking that away from him, but he did make mistakes that he needs to clean up.
