Erik Gustafsson is reportedly planning on testing the UFA market next month, according to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period.
There apparently haven't been any contract talks between the Flames and Gustafsson. That could change before free agency opens on Oct. 9. The Flames acquired Gustafsson from Chicago prior to the trade deadline. Gustafsson had six goals and 29 points in 66 games last season.

His biggest issue was getting the ball out in time bc he couldn’t read defenses quickly enough

Josh Allen is going to get one of his receivers killed. He can not put the ball where it needs to be consistently. So many plays could go for long RACs but don’t because the receiver has to adjust for the catch many times falling down or getting crushed afterwards. Missing wide open receivers in the end zone isn’t a little thing. Accuracy for a QB isn’t a little thing. Hanging onto the ball isn’t a little thing.

I like Josh Allen. He is fun and a gamer, but we’re never going to win in the playoffs with him. He has succeeded because of the team around him. If we had a true top ten QB we would be Super Bowl contenders.

And the play calling is as bad as always. Putting Josh in dangerous situations when up by three scores is the sign of a moron making the calls.
