Instead of Gio how about going after DeMelo to play with Dahlin?

If you go to the Sabres homepage, it's in the Twitter section, maybe you will have better luck posting it.

DeMelo is gonna be in high demand I believe. Like him though.

Hjlmarsson with Dahlin. And find a free agent 2Ld for whoever plays 2 Rd (joker, Miller, risto, Monte)... joker SHOULD slot there. But I don’t see them moving Risto. And I don’t mind Miller as 3rd. But Ralph doesn’t seem to like him. I see the right side as....

Hjlmarsson
Risto
Joker.

Should be

I’m hoping for a slight rebound and his inclusion in the deal was as a cap dump for us to acquire Monahan

Risto for Henrique.

Montour, Mojo, Mitts, 2021 first for Monahan And Giordano

Skinner-Eichel-Thompson
Kahun-Monahan-Reinhart
Olofsson-Henrique-Cozens
CJ Smith-Asplund-Okposo

Dahlin-Miller
McCabe-Joker
Giordano-Borgen

Ullmark
Hutton

That first line defensively would be pretty scary though.

- Pegullaville

I'm not seeing the path to the long term here, it addresses immediate needs but gets messy very shortly.

Why get Henrique for 3C, especially with Monahan and Cozens? Cozens should take over the 2C in 1-1/2 years after starting at 3RW and progressing to 3C this upcoming season. So, I think Henrique is overkill and a waste of valuable Cap at 3C. Then, what do you do with Monahan when Cozens is ready for 2C? I don't believe He is 3C material.

I think you need to get one or the other, but not both.

Giordano is getting old and for $6.75m for 2 years as a 3rd pairing seems anything but economical, lean, cheap...as I think Kerry and Tim said the Org will be.

If Sullivan stays, that's a team Buffalo could make a deal with.

What makes sense bashing a team that has sucked for years and its players or a QB who just moved the ball like a stud and threw for over 300 yds and 57 yds rushing? Who deserves the bash the 14 goal scorer who makes 9 million or that QB who plays with heart? The winger on Jacks hip who never shows his face in the community or the QB who is the face of the community among athletes? That's a tough one.

Giordano is a cap dump to take Monahan. Montour, Mojo, Mitts in terms of real $$$ are almost equivalent to Monahan and Giordano in terms of real $$$$. In terms of overall cap hit we add roughly $3-4M.

Henrique moves to the wing in 1-2 years once Cozens proves he can play the middle

I look at modern day rosters as 1st line, 2A, 2B, 4th.

Dependant on matchups Cozens and Monahan would still play plenty enough at even strength and PP and I expect Cozens to be the 200 foot center in this equation and handle the more defensive zone matchups.

Best of all we keep the 8th OA pick and select whomever falls into our lap.

Monahan could always be dealt again in 2 years if need be.

And the Bills are winning, good job there. You just couldn't stay away from me, even though I had no problem staying away from a banned person myself.

I think it's interesting that Allen takes more flak than Darnold, even though Darnold has objectively performed worse. People are more ready to blame Darnold for being bad because Gase is such a tire fire. People don't want to be wrong about calling Allen a poop show coming out of college.

Count me among those who were Allen doubters, but I still hear people grasping at straws trying to sound right even though he's outperforming everyone but Jackson in his draft class

First 300 yard game and no interceptions with 71% completion - people just post gifs of him missing Brown and fumbling. No one wants to be wrong about him. He wouldn't get a pass for sucking against the Jets, but he still gets poop for winning.

I enjoy every game he proves me wrong. He's doing well.

It was more of a joke, I like Allen and what he brings to the team. He had a good game, and I hope he keeps on having good games. But I also find nothing wrong with anyone wanting him to clean up his fumbles, it will only make him and the team better.

My comment wasn't directed at you. But there's a professional football-watching analytic crowd who could watch him go 30-for-35 for 400 yards and say "well he missed an easy slant completion. Same old Allen." No one wants to be wrong about him

I believe he is better than Darnold but if both switched teams, the Bills still win the AFC East and the Jets maybe win an extra game or two this year.

Skinner scores 40 goals with Jack, 14 goals without.

Allen will win 9-11 games with the Bills and 4-5 with the Jets and that defence and supporting cast.

I very much agree. I honestly think if Mayfield had landed with the Bills, they'd be on the KC/Baltimore level. The Bills leadership with his talent would have been terrific. But Allen might end up having a better career now.

Oh I agree, the bad thing is every QB does it but something Allen will have to deal with, cause of how much he has done it in the past couple years.

Senior Advisor to the GM. Good hire by Zito.
An interesting story out of FL, asst coach Mike Kitchen out. Alleged to have kicked a player sitting on bench in the back after player slammed water bottle in frustration and got Kitchen all wet. Happened back in January, I guess Tallon was gonna let it slide, and the new guy, Zito, told him to hit the road.
