Lowry will be a UFA by then. So unless he resigns before then, we won't have to worry about him either. - grahamzky
Lowry will be the first 4th/5th line player to spend his entire career with the same franchise. |

Even as a #3-4 goalie? - TheUltimateJet
I only see them taking 3,
They will take the best young goalie they can get who they see as their future. Possibly, Demko, Georgiev, Type.
Then they will take another solid goalie, I look at Columbus, Arizona, and Nashville as all having two.
Finally they will take another young goalie to groom on the farm. This is where Berdin May be considered but there are lots of choices exactly like him. He was not a top 5 goalie in the AHL last year so Im not sure how on the radar he is.
Also, teams may offer Seattle picks to take an over paid goalie. Example, what if Florida gives up a pick and prospect to get away from Bobrovski? He would instantly help them get to the cap floor and they get extra assets to take a chance he rebounds?? |

I’ll also add, losing Berdin to Seattle is no big deal. |

He's a pretty good goalie from what I've seen of him, I hope he stays a Jet for awhile.

It's a big gamble to pick a prospect goalie in an expansion draft. Especially when they could pick a goailie further in development that is already an NHL back-up. They are more likely to pick Copp or Roslovic who are the most likely to be exposed if they are not traded. You could easily trade one of those two for multiple picks to stock your cupboards. - Napolean-Mennonite
If the Jets leave Roslovic exposed it better be cause they acquired a real 3rd line and he's been lost in the shuffle, will just be more bad asset management if Roslo is lost to Seattle. |

If the Jets go with 7 forwards protected, which they should, they would be:
-Scheifele
-Wheeler (NMC. Sad face)
-Ehlers
-Laine
-Copp
-2C here? Maybe Harkins?
-Connor
It’s really not a huge issue |

Maybe Seattle will do the Jets a favor and take Logan Stanley off of their hands. He is big after all, I've been told that's an asset. |

Can't teach size they say, he's just not strong on his feet and gets the puck stripped away easily,
I don't know wtf they were thinking selecting him, wouldn't be surprised to hear one day that they let Maurice have a pick and big Logan was his choice. |

He is close. Dependable, hard working, intelligent, leadership quality and good talent that has progressed every year he has been in the nhl. |

I thought he had a pretty disappointing season considering how much time he spent in the top 6, he's fine at 3 or 4C but that's it, he could become a Kraken and it wouldn't bother me at all though I'd rather see Lowry get claimed by the Krakenheads! |

He was drafted by the Jets. Let's not forget about the infamous trade that had him go to the Wings for $1USD. |

That's just wishful thinking. Noway does Maurice allow his favorite player to be traded or left unprotected. |

Dude was our 3rd best forward this year.
Even if you don’t believe that, what the hell else do we have worth protecting up front lol |

He was fantastic every time he was in the top 6, and carried every line he was on. He was also our best penalty killer, and a very high end defensive player.
Want more out of him? Give him more ice time. |

Close to what? I protect him before Wheeler at this point. He had a better season, and doesn’t have a noose contract |

No it's Adam Lowry. Noway should he get the icetime he does. Gets more time than anyone on our second line. |

Wheeler has a NMC, he has to be protected.
Great move by our GM! |

Realistically speaking, I am hoping we can get Cam Talbot or Corey Crawford. Both should not cost the Jets more than 3 million. Would make excellent back-ups and take lots of pressure of my main man, Connor Hellebyuck!!! - TheUltimateJet
Good options. Chevy goes with Mike Smith. |

Not really. The 2nd line was dominant with Copp. Everyone who plays with Copp sees a jump in performance. I’d say improving the performance of your linemates in every measurable way while adding a defensive presence not seen in our top 6 since Stastny left and Wheeler declined is pretty fantastic.
All that was needed was patience for the shooting percentage to level out, and even then they were out-scoring the opposition. |
