Don’t you also say Justin Williams’ Mr. Game 7 nickname is overblown and a product of sample size? You can’t have both.
- Victoro311

I don’t think I do? I think Bryan Rust is overrated as being considered clutch but I don’t think Williams is.

The only game here I will comment on is the ECF vs the Pens in 2016. It was his first game back after a very long injury lay off. He had a pretty good game but was rusty as fvck. He had a chance to tie in that game and missed.

I dont believe Stamkos to be a mental midget at all. The thing about this list is it a small sample of random games in different years. As someone else pointed out he's around .75 ppg in playoffs.

Aka he doesn’t live up to his abilities when it matters most making him a mental midget.

hahaha it is a pretty damning list when you look at it...but I cant call the guy a mental midget, not after the hard work and determination he's applied to his life to get where he is. Not when he worked his way to 1st overall and has produced at times in elite clips in the NHL. Not when hes returned from very bad injuries numerous times and basically went back into elite territory. Actually, fvck calling it elite territory, the guy has been straight up elite. 6 seasons in 90ish points and two of those almost 100. 60 goals in one season and 40+ two other times. IMO you cant be a mental midget and achieve this sh!t.

53 points in 70 playoff games. I'd take that.
- Hockey66

You’d take that from a 1C or 2C in the playoffs? Oof.

Regular Season Elite. I’ll agree to that.

Playoffs, he is not.

Sure he’s an elite offensive player in the regular season. He’s also an elite disappearing act when it matters most.

Yeah most of these guys would get an extra point over Stammer every 10 to 15 games in the playoffs....not even worth saying better for haha...except Bergeron of course, who's 0.01 ppg less.

As for better defensively...lets see some stats on it.

Sounds like you guys need a B. Sutter. Provides great leadership, virtually no offence and only 4+ million cap hit.

Caps hired Laviolette lol
- kfinl170

They were always going to go with an experienced coach after Reirdon. Not a terrible choice considering Babcock looked like a possibility (imagine him and Ovi) though I'd have chosen Gallant.

Yeah, kind of amazing we ever let Sutter get away.

That Bonino guy we got for him never did anything to help us win.

Bringing back to wings...

Just watched the Hot Ones episode with Jeff Goldblum. Might be my new favorite. He's so weird and awkward. It was a great episode.

Blueger is cheaper and younger than all those guys mentioned in the article. Spending wisely is talked about a lot on here, and spending to the cap is fine. Doing any of these deals is this is just Jack Johnson all over again. And isn't that the definition of stupidity.

Oh, and Go Stars.

I really dislike Spielberg. Even his 80s and 90s movies when he was in his prime I only find OK. Jaws and Jurassic Park never really hit with me. I will say that his use of practical effects have aged pretty well.

The only Spielberg movie I really love is Minority Report. All the other ones are on a spectrum of ok to actively terrible for me. He also hasn’t made a good movie since Catch Me If You Can.

Oh and Indiana Jones. I like those two.

See my edit. Raiders and Crusade are good. Temple is pretty bad. Crystal Scull is horrendous.
