God I hate the "blood rule" for high-sticking. What a stupid (frank)ing rule. Who came up with that? You can break someone's nose, jaw, cheekbone, etc. but as long as there's no blood, 2 minutes. You can break the skin while grazing the face and if there's blood, that's 4. Makes no sense at all. Just like punishment based on whether or not there's an injury. |

Yeah some cilantro-less chimichurri, but I'm a bit on the lazy side for that. Sometime's I'll squeeze a lime over it while I'm searing it and call it a day.

I just drove a buddy out to Nevada. We took the southern route and hit up Amarillo,TX a place called the Bg Texan. I got Rocky mountain oysters and the best 24oz steak Ive ever had. Also, had steak last night for dinner.

You guys think the Islanders would be interested in Murray? I haven’t been especially impressed with Varlamov. Murray would probably do great playing behind that team, and if they get illuminated I could see goaltending being an area they look to upgrade. JG Pageau would look great in a pens uniform. I don’t know if the pens could even do it under the cap. |

No. They have Varlamov and Sorokin long term.
And you aren’t getting Pageau regardless. |

I wanted Pageau when he was available but the ship has sailed on him. I don't see NYI giving him up - they are not exactly flush with centers. I think the Isles think their goaltending is fine with Varly and the young Russian. Maybe they re-sign Greiss on the cheap. I don't think they can afford another $5M+ goalie as they need to re-up Barzal, Pulock, and Toews. Not to mention it's within the division. |

I forgot you had that gene. Is chimichurri without cilantro even a thing? |

It is. But imo you shouldn’t put anything on a steak if you cook it and season it right. |

You would pollute a beautifully cooked steak with chimichurri? Why not just throw some ketchup on there?
If you have a filet and you want to whip up some pan drippings, butter and red wine its one thing but a beautifully cooked steak like that should be eaten as is. |

Lol it’s a (frank)ing flank. Relax. If we were talking about a real grade a cut then I agree, just seasoning. But skirt and flank it’s perfectly acceptable to throw some chimichurri on there. The thing is half fat as it is. |

Equating chimichurri on a flank steak, which is proper culinary practice in South America for lower cuts of beef, with putting ketchup on stake, may be one of the lower rent things I’ve seen on this sub. |
