Might have to choose another option, wouldn't mean he wouldn't want to be where he signs...I am sure if the entire league could choose where they would play today, the league would be much different. |

If the Leafs can't sign Al Pietrangelo then Ek has reported that Cody Ceci's name has been brought up by several sources as a consolation prize this summer. So it might make sense to just sign Ceci. Maybe with the extra cap space see if you can add Ty Toffoli or Pat Laine. |

The idea is to get an asset with that cap hit or salary, then putting them on ltir therefore nullifying the cap hit.
Don't think the Leafs will go that way with half their revenue stream missing. |
