yeah, heaven forbid the leafs copy the blueprints of teams who are in the conf finals, who have loads of talent, depth, balance, youth.........they should continue to follow the blueprint that's seen them be the only team in the entire league that hasn't won a single playoff round post lockout.....post FIRST lockout.

I thought Buffalo was going to surprise.

Other than that, I was OK.

Are you sure of that? 3 of 4 are very old. Many do lack actual talent, and i'd argue they are lacking young talent overall.
Do we look at Vegas, Islanders and Stars and say this is the start of something special? I dunno. Vegas seems to lack talent. Same with Islanders. I picked the Stars to make the finals, but they are aging aside from 1 superstar DMan and it took them quite a few years to get here.

Also, Spezza and the Leafs didn't make the playoffs.. Lost in the play-in rounds
