I think the writing is on the wall that the Wild are trading Matt Dumba. Come to think of it....Jason Zucker wins the King Clancy and gets traded. Dumba wins the King Clancy...what's going to happen? |

Brodin, Suter, and Spurgeon now all have NMC's and have to be protected at the expansion draft. If they aren't trading Dumba, they are probably giving something up to Seattle to keep him. |

Dumba is likely traded. Don't see why you'd give something to Seattle to hold on to him when you can get more in trading him and letting Seattle pick whomever.
Don't know what he will get you but as the blog says, staying status quo is likely not the best idea. |

I think they trade him too. They're locked in on the right side with Spurgeon as their #1, Probably wait and see when Addison is ready to make the jump full time and be slotted behind him before trading him though. |

Dumba should bring back a nice return... I think they look for a young scoring forward... |

Not saying he won't develop quickly, but Addison didn't look remotely ready for the NHL at last years camp. Looked like a kid with everybody flying around him....even the AHL guys. Easily over-powered too. It was only training camp so who knows. I kept thinking I hope the Pens aren't counting on this kid for a couple of years. |

Dumba to Toronto for Nylander.
Or to any team that has an over-the-hill Minnesota boy who wants to come home and retire to the press box.

They currently have just 3 rostered forwards inked for after this season (Parise and Rask are 2 of them). Doubt they are too concerned about the expansion draft at this point in time. |
