I am still a big fan of Thicc Nik..

He just needed to be reined in a little bit. But as you say his underlying #'s are very good and he has a terrific shot... plus a really good forecheck and getting himself in better shape helped a ton. He's also a legit heavyweight and can. does protect the boys.

Hey Ducks fans! Looking for some insight into who you guys are thinking of taking at 6th overall.

Since Rossi is gone, Drysdale. He solves two Ducks shortcomings; He's a right shot, and he can run the powerplay. Plus, the dude can skate!

I agree, I'd say Drysdale. But knowing the Ducks brass, I wouldn't be shocked if they took Raymond. Ducks love a strong, Swedish forward... I'd like the Ducks to take Drysdale, Rossi, or Perfetti. I know for your exercise that only one is available, but you never know with drafts...

As for the question about who you wish wasn't traded, the obvious answer for Ducks fans is Kase. However, retrospectively I wish we would have dealt Perry a few years ago when his value was still astronomical. I think the Kase deal may go down as a win if he continues to battle injuries and we can get a solid player with our second first rounder.

It is hard to evaluate that trade at this point, but I think the Ritchie and Shore trades are pretty immediate wins for GMBM.

I think Drysdale is a no brainier if he's still available at #6.

Kase is another Simon Despres waiting to happen (imo). Love the kid but I worry about him. Ritchie never panned out either. He had his chances here. He's probably public enemy #1 in Boston. Liked Derek Grant, but understand the trade.
