Love Gally but his body takes such a beating I think the shorter the term, the better. His production is going to fall off a cliff before this deal is done

As an outsider I think it takes 5 years at 7.3 per or 6 years at 6.2, I believe thats close in overall $

I think this may have been overexaggerated, of course he can get injured like any other player but he'll be fine imo

I’d love to see Gallagher finish his career in Montreal and raise the franchise’s 25th Cup.

if only the damn salary cap would go up, money's not a problem for MTL. but it sure won't be going up for a while I guess...

Hopefully MB hears these players calling out the deficiencies in this team and takes the necessary strides to put a competitive team together to compete while this core is still viable and able. What more does it take ffs??? C’mon MB (frank)

Trade Drouin and make room for Gally. Addition by subtraction

You could trade him for the corpse of Helen Keller and still get the same amount of heart and equal points ....... get what you can at the best available time and move on from your French savior that’s a total bust.

while I may not be the biggest fan, I think I probably like him more than you do

for me it's git-er-done time next season for Drouin, who knows, you might be surprised...

so you're trading Drouin for picks?

I'm pretty sure you meant pucks....don't think you would get many picks for him

For sure buddy! That’s why I’m saying....trade at the best possible time. I don’t see a scenario where he finishes out his contract in Montreal unless the French force is strong in them?? He’s overpaid, overrated and is a wussy that won’t battle it out in the corners or refuses to justify his contract . He’s a pretty boy where everything came easy to him at every other level of hockey....now it gets tough and he disappears. Bye bye.

no no no, getting a winger is now as difficult as getting a center or a top dman.

Jesus Christ!! Enough with that wussy MB pacifying the masses with his spineless media tactics.

Wingers are the easiest to acquire!!

Rinse and repeat.

again, what would you like him to say...? is it possible that it is actually difficult to build a winning NHL team? not defending him, just curious

He should show some confidence in order to instill some in his team that is deficient in many areas. That would go a long way. You need a good general for your troops to follow.
