The one positive i took from Bergevin’s interview on TVA Sports was when he said: we’ll see if we still have money but October 9th, to me that sounds like some extensions may be signed by then...or maybe it’s wishful thinking lol |

yup, at least Joel seems to be doing a better job at it, really glad they put him in instead of Lefebvre - Pat1993
Oh god yes!! Major improvement so far!! The direction of this franchise seems to be shifting. Look at KK’s stint in Laval.....I love it. But MB’s excuse-train is still on the tracks gaining steam. He needs to STFU or just make deals.... in the words of my favorite poster on here “JFC”

yeah drafting has been an issue, can't disagree with you there...
then again, it's not easy drafting good players, it's basically a crapshoot, right fido? - Pat1993
that's the main reason why they missed the playoffs so often.
but they are so good at it, Timmins is the best!

Oh and RDS said today that François Gagnon reports a deal with Edmundson is likely to come for 3.5 M for 3 to 5 years...5 would be a bit much.... |

Wow! 5 would be WAY too much! We need to navigate the expansion draft first unless MB has something else up his green sleeve??? |

aren't you tired of that clown?
I mean, we cut him some slack for a long time about how difficult it is to trade for a #1C or and top dman, and now he thinks we'll fall for the same bs about a winger?!?
(frank) him.

Maybe 3.5MM for 4 years, the question here is also whether Edmundson has some offensive potential that we haven't seen |

He’s a total clown wussy. He’s made some great trades and some less than great.....but how he deals with the media and fans is less then stellar. He comes off as a total incompetent moron. I wish he had more confidence...of just STFU and hit it out of the park time and time again without prefacing it with doom and gloom. He’s a clown |

He’s hardly gonna say: oh yeah getting a winger will be a piece of cake, watch me Jici!
I’m confident he’ll bd able to get a big RW for us this offseason. If that doesn’t happen though, then i’ll be fuming |

ok, but to be fair, if getting a winger is easy, can you at least admit that getting a big winger that can score might be more complicated? pretty sure it's what Bergevin was referring to...

3.5 is the number for sure, but I see 4.1 for the same amount of time.....it should be aligned with the Chiarot contract |

5 years does sound a bit much, and 3.5 would be top dollar imo

if centers are so difficult to get, are you telling me Domi+ won't get you a decent winger? I'm not talking Jamie Benn here.

no but surely you're talking about more offensive skills than Armia for example...

You can’t trade for centers, wingers, defense or goalies....you have to draft them.
Trades are hard. |

What's the issue with 3.5MM for 5 years? He would be 32 and we can always trade him |

of course. MB can't have it both ways. either centers are hard to come buy, or there not. if it's the former like we've heard over the past 8 years.... well he should be able to get something good for Domi+.
the + is to get a better player. because just one for one Domi should get us a good winger. remember, centers come at a premium.
