You can’t trade for centers, wingers, defense or goalies....you have to draft them.
Trades are hard. - Snots33_77
exactly. even good Zamboni drivers are hard to find.

What's the issue with 3.5MM for 5 years? He would be 32 and we can always trade him - habs88888
5 years for a 4M 3rd pairing dman seems like a bit long for me. I don't know. just 5 years too long.

3.5 would be ideal, but I feel that the Habs would have to overpay. That’s all. Plus....you want to play the expansion draft smart as well. Unless you’re going to dangle Mete....which is a joke. He has the worst shot from the point I’ve ever seen. |

2-3 years tops! And 3 is going to far with the salary cap situation |

of course. MB can't have it both ways. either centers are hard to come buy, or there not. if it's the former like we've heard over the past 8 years.... well he should be able to get something good for Domi+.
the + is to get a better player. because just one for one Domi should get us a good winger. remember, centers come at a premium. - fidopro
a trading package like "Domi +" is fine and dandy, but it has to fill a need for the team you're trading it to... so I guess you have to find a trading partner needing to shed salary and thus willing to part ways with a big scoring winger... |

Look at Toronto! They can come out of nowhere and beat the Leafs |

which should be PRETTY EASY TO DO considering the flat cap, and the cap situation of the Habs.
so stop the bs MB and get to work. tigidup! |

if I analyze this correctly I can deduce you're not the BIGGEST Marc Bergevin fan, but one last question: can you admit he's done some good moves? which should instill a bit of confidence for upcoming trades?

Lolol. I actually like what Bergevin has done last two/three years. Just me I guess |

of course! I've been a fan of his for a long time. I defended him for a long time. I even defended him for the Allen trade here in this thread! I'm a very patient guy. he made more good trades than bad ones.
but this is it. I'm done with him. he had more than enough time to improve the team.
when you need a top LD with offense, you don't sign Edmonston. when you need top end talent with size, you sign 4th liners under 5'11. Markov retired how many years ago? and they still have not found a decent guy to replace him.
the sooner Molson wakes up, the better it will be. |

when is the last time we had a scorer in the top 10 of the league?
top 20?
top 30?
top 50?
in 17 years Timmins didn't draft one single guy who reached 70 pts in a season. not one. |
