Billy G is building the most mediocre forward group in the league that's supposed to compete for playoff spot.
You also have to feel for Bjugstad. His health stopped him from really getting a chance with the Pens as 3C which I believe he would have been a good fit for if healthy and now he's the Wild's 1C and he's clearly not a close to a 1C, so he's going to disappoint and it's not his fault. - Rinosaur
The only disagreement I have with you is that this team is not intended to compete for a playoff spot. They are going to strip it down and readjust their roster, tank for a good draft pick and start to put pieces into place.
They could easily pull a Rangers and only suck for two years and build it back up quickly. |

It took Flyers management 30+ years to realize we need a franchise goalie. Baby steps. The teams aren't always the best, but the fans show up in PHilly. The best hpagies are from Wawa. Any Wawa. If you're talking about steak/cheesesteaks, Sonny's or Campo's. Pat's and Geno's are disgusting. - CupOnBroadSt.
no they are not wawa hoagies are a fn disgrace. pure garbage |

Looks like Arizona is about to name a new GM. Have also heard that their new GM will make a final appeal to Taylor Hall. Too bad there isn't a Coyotes blogger anymore. I offered to take the job. I not only offered to do it for free, but actually am willing to pay Ek for the privelege of succeeding Tanner in this prestigious role. But no dice. - Kooleus

Toronto and MAF makes no sense. To get him and have Vegas retain would require a first or a good roster player. That's a massive over payment when they have a guy who's about just as good, especially considering contract duration. - mgriffen
How about a goalie that can actually win in the playoffs ? |

Oh please no. As much as I loved to read the comments section and watch him contradict himself every 3 seconds, it all went on for far too long.

Freddie's not the problem. The team is soft, doesn't back check enough, and the defense is 3rd rate. Rielly or Muzzin go down and they're toast. They need depth and they need guys to buy in to team defense.
I'd hate to see MAF brought in toted as the City's savior and then watch the media tear him down when history repeats itself. |

We're a lot closer to winning another Cup than your lottery team is. I feel bad for you, David Puddy, and those other three Devils fans. - CupOnBroadSt.
Yawn....this has been the claim of Flyers fans since the '90's

Only thing that is important today...
If you think Wawa hoagies are trash or sucks, please turn in your fake Philly card. You are now banned and must live in Jersey.
Now the best hoagies are Primo's. Thank you, I have spoken. |

Your $10.5M goalie's best post-season was 8 wins - and that was 7 years ago.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Avs beat them in 2001, led by Roy, Sakic and Bourque.
