You could make the argument for Nolan, but Dwight King was garbage. There's a reason why he's not in the NHL anymore.

Clifford is a coach's favorite, a locker room favorite, and the heart and soul of whatever team he plays on. The Kings made the right decision to keep him. They also made the right choice to trade him to get something for him as a rental. They'll be making the right choice again if they choose to re-sign him.

It's a shame it would cost a 2nd round pick to keep him because he's the type of guy they need in the bottom six especially in the playoffs.
