I get it and admit I was weak.

We can handle a mix of hockey, music, food, Zezel’s sex life and political discussion with just about anybody except those two and a few of the crazies that drop by occasionally. There are people , like Tumbleweed, that I disagree with vehemently but can talk to.

Hope it stays to small symptoms man. That sucks..... despite people acting stupid or not being careful enough, you don't want to see them get hurt by this thing.

Marner was willing to sign a contract 6-8 y at about 8-8.5mln AAV in the off-season before training camp the year Tavares joined.
Dubas didn't think that the risk was worth it (apparently he wasn't that convinced Marner was that good - another player he didn't value very well).
Result was that Marner put up 94points, and after giving that massive contract to Matthews, Dubas had no argument at all to give that 2mln AAV overpayment to Marner.

There was a mention on this in the 'thefull60' podcast. There was an interview with Marner's agent as well - not sure on that podcast or with tsn or sn or another.

I think so, losing Pietro without a return diminishes. Trading Parayko at least brings back some assets. Keeping both is not impossible, just difficult with the player mix, the Faulk deal and every significant salary on the team having trade restrictions.

Lake Ontario is nice further out away from shore, but it can get choppy.
Up the street in mountsberg reservoir is a great place to practice.
Last time i went, they had several bald eagles nest as well. It was great to see them up close.

That off-season before/during/just after start of training camp.
They indicated they were interested in getting a long term deal done before start - but if not, they would wait and not negotiate during season.

It's not true. No matter how many times Max says it.

Marner's agent himself said that he was not, at any point in time, gonna sign his contract until both Nylander and Matthews signed their deals.

I booked a trip there for U.S. Thanksgiving a few months ago. I was pretty sure I was going to have to cancel.

My concern all along was infecting him. Now, if he gets past this, I am thinking maybe I can go after all. We can separate our household when I return. The thing is, it is still such a poop show down there, I still don't think I can go.
