Alzner needed a friend?
- JohnFergusonJr

Meh, you probably said the same thing about Chiarot last season, and he turned out pretty damn well.

He's a big guy who was playing big minutes on a strong Carolina defense.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Not a big risk for a team that has money to spend. There may be some serious bargains later on though. This deal looks ok.

Ah, so reality is idiotic now. Cool.
- JohnFergusonJr

numbers taken completely out of context are idiocy, yes.
You really are Tanner, aren't you.

Here is a clue and I will let you figure out the rest of the story... look at the death rates by age group. Then the number of infections in the general population. Then expand your mind and try to envision what has happened and is happening.

I won't be responding again because we all know that this is like porn to you.

Not really big minutes, bottom pairing, mostly a PKer.

But I'd rather have him than Ceci or Barrie so he's not completely terrible, I guess.

I'm not that big on the Staal trade. I like the guy, solid depth center but he's almost 36. He could easily fall off.

SJW Dubas will totally try to acquire Dumba but he'd get royally ripped off if it's for Nylander.

I don’t think the song I put a song up for you in response to George Harrison loaded. It was Gram Parsons singing Streets of Baltimore singing with Emmy Lou Harris. I saw her at a real live Virginia honky tonk when I was living in DC. I only learned today that James Burton and the Elvis band played on this album (one of my favourites).

This is such a great, sad song.

During my studies of applied math at the University of Waterloo, I knew an engineer who went on to get his PhD. He recently contacted me out of the blue. He's living in Washington state and has a blog dedicated to denial of climate change. I could not fathom how much time and energy was spent to deny the existence of climate change by this very bright person. When reflecting on the possibilities, I concluded he is a strong racist. There was no other expanation that fit the scenario. There is a common thread for people that are racists and those that are obvious ageists.

Makes sense since they tend to be driven by insecurities and stupidity and there’s plenty of both with our little buddy here.

It's not that Staal is that great as much as it's that Kerfoot is total garbage.

Habs defense is looking pretty solid and they'll be tough to play against.

The offense though? Needs some work.

If Kerfoot is "total garbage"... what would you consider Martin Marincin? Is there a level below "total garbage"?

I can live with a player like Marincin because he makes less than 1 million dollars and can be buried in the AHL. Kerfoot at 3.5 million is idiotically unacceptable given our situation.
