Do you remember the email that went around about the two Nortel employees who took their $1,000 bonuses - one guy bought beer, the other guy bought Nortel stock?

A year later, first guy cleaned out his empties from the garage, and they were worth more than the other guy's Nortel stock.

I miss getting stupid joke emails.

My mom still gets them from a friend - not sure where the guy still gets them from.

- Atomic Wedgie

When in doubt beer is always a good choice. I believe that is the moral of the story

why can't people follow the direction laid out by grocery store which way people should be going when shopping for food.

The hope is that they are not as concerned about a short term deficit, as long as overall franchise valuation continues to skyrocket.
- Atomic Wedgie

Question, Wedgie - will you have to pay anything to keep your Leafs tickets even if there are no fans permitted?

Forgive my ignorance - is "therapeutics" a synonym for a vaccine, or does it denote a wider list of things?
- Atomic Wedgie

No therapeutics is not a synonym for vaccine at all. It is an effective method to control and treat rather than a cure. An example of effective therapeutics would be the treatment of HIV. Many years ago - it was a death sentence, now people are living longer with the help of therapeutics (even though there is no cure). I became interested when I listened to a discussion led by Bill Gates who has made a significant investment in this area.

The hipsters go with that. Something that at first is very 'ironic' and 'anti' and the next thing you know everyone is doing it. They will deep six the beard thing soon. Hopefully the skinny pants go with them!

IF Petro hits the open market I think leafs have a good shot at him.

Would have to think Dubas would at least entertain trading for his rights.

I dont see an issue with someone wanting to look different than everyone else.

Whatever makes you happy, as long as you aren't hurting someone.

I didn't say that there was anything wrong with it. But hipsters end up looking like...other hipsters, anyway.

I can agree with that.

Were I Dubas, I'd tamper a bit first. Ask his agent if there'd be any benefit of it.

maybe you should consider broadening your horizons. there is far from a scientific consensus on this. if anything, the science is pointing to this is not the risk many thought it was back in March.

Good question.

Answer is "I sincerely doubt it."

I eventually got all my money back from lockout year - they even paid money on the interest for the money they held, which was funny - i kept getting MLSEL cheques for about $2. I framed one.

After a false start, they haven't even begun collecting money for next year yet.

It's funny - I was just thinking today that usually the season tix would arrive right around now - along with a little gift that has become really crappy over the past few years.

That has likely already happened - they were talking hypothetically of course. Also it's very likely that Armstrong and Dubas have talked.

In all fairness, I’m just too lazy to shave. I only shave twice a year. Lou can suck it.

Non-conformists usually conform with other non-conformists. The irony is a part of it, I think.

I 'm on my 4th or 5th covid beard.

Shaving every day sucks. Easier to just do it once a month.

Don't worry - I don't rock the neck beard.

He confirmed what Dreger said on Friday.

He’s going to Free Agency, but he didn’t rule out re-signing with the Blues.

Because people hate being told what to do. Even when it's the right thing to do.
