Pietrangelo believes that many overplayed the notion that he will remain a Blue because his wife is from St. Louis and they now have four children who they won’t want to uproot.
“Yep,” he said. “I think maybe people thought that we’d be willing to do what we had to do to keep the family here. But I’ve always said I’ve got a strong wife and she keeps me going in the right direction. I’m lucky that she and I can go through this thing together because she’s been nothing but supportive.
“We sat down and did our homework on our own and have gone through scenarios, teams that we think can maybe accommodate us and teams that we think are competitive and teams that we think would be willing to raise a family in. It’s not a very fun thing to do when your heart is somewhere, but unfortunately, it’s just the situation we’re in.”
No therapeutics is not a synonym for vaccine at all. It is an effective method to control and treat rather than a cure. An example of effective therapeutics would be the treatment of HIV. Many years ago - it was a death sentence, now people are living longer with the help of therapeutics (even though there is no cure). I became interested when I listened to a discussion led by Bill Gates who has made a significant investment in this area. - winsix

Therapeutics normally just mean medicines (or in a broader sense treatment protocols).
With regard to covid, when referring to therapeutics, people normally mean 'drugs'

I said it earlier in the blog, but I'd really like to see if HFBoards did a best D-men in the NHL poll earlier in the season and if they do one after (if) he becomes a Leaf.
I'm thinking he'll drop 10 slots, just like Tavares did.

Oxford:
Therepeutics :the branch of medicine concerned with the treatment of disease and the action of remedial agents.
Vaccine: Treatment with a vaccine to produce immunity against a disease; inoculation.
An efficetive vaccine will build enough immunity to prevent an individual from contracting that disease/virus. Hence it is considered a cure. Considered more difficult to acheive and requires a higher standard, Wheras therapeutics treatments are used to minimize and reduce the severity of the effect of the virus in the case of Covid.
