I'm still amazed that there are so many here who are pushing back against adding Pietrangelo.

God forbid the Leafs trade Nylander to not only add balance to the lineup, but a Top 5 d-man in the league -- a guy who knows how to win (as a Captain) and is undeniably a better player than Rielly.

The Islanders had an excellent defensive system thanks to their coach, and amazing goaltending, but they ran up against a more talented team with an excellent offense. and equal goaltending, and they lost.

Dallas is also a strong defensive team, but it's not likely their goaltending matches what the Islanders had, so I expect Dallas to fall more hastily to Tampa's attack.

Stars snuffed out a very powerful Vegas offensive forecheck and I see the same happening to Tampa.

People are really underestimating how big and mobile the Stars D is.
And Benn has been an absolute beast... Dallas in 6.

I don't think so. Unless it is possible to expose him during the expansion draft or ensure that he is open to being traded after a few years.
