This is a whole different animal. I like Acciari's game a lot. I doubt he sniffs 20G again, but I like the element he brings.

This would almost guarantee one more player is getting Ye Ole cap dump to make room for Hoffman's salary which I have to assume is somewhere around $6M.

Are we absolutely sure he didnt speak with Horny at all about this? From a winning and championship standpoint Florida isnt a good option for Horn, but for a guy on the back 9 of his career with 2 cups rings, Florida might seem real nice.

There has been a bunch of rumors about what the hold up is. I find it odd if the trade is held up over calling Horny over his NTC. I have heard that Hornqvist and Matheson are the foundation of a bigger trade. I have heard rumors of Florida potentially retaining money in the deal which could be the hold up. Also last but not least that JR had another deal to deal a defensemen in the works which fell through which could have caused this deal to be on hold. A bunch of rumors, but no solid sources to what is actually going on.

Should be interesting to see when/if the deal goes through what really happened/held up the deal. I do think if this deal happens that more deals will be coming soon. I do question who our net front presence will be on the PP.
