Three concusions...yikes. Holloway followed by Zary would be my preference.

Yup quite the gamble there.

And the Habs have 11 picks in the draft, not 12 They traded one in the Jake Allen deal and another one in the Edmundson deal.

I like the player, just think 16th overall is a bit too high to take such a gamble.

Worth the gamble , besides Caulfield the prospect pool is pretty thin on potential top 6 forwards. If Mercer or Jarvis was there I would have picked them(safer pick) but Lapeirre will be a steal at 16 . We obviously don’t have access to the medical reports that the teams do but if rumours are true one of those concussions were misdiagnosed. I believe MB will pick Lapeirre if he is available at 16

Better than the 15th pick, at least.

I think this is a risk, but better than a 50-50 chance that it is a home run.

The agent has provided medical reports indicating that the there is not an ongoing concession issue, rather the problem is neck and spine.

This is a very talented player.

if JArvis is there or Mercer or Zary all ahead...and Amirov in terms of a sharp shooter is also ahead of him bc the Habs need a killer....someone who when they can take a shot can score...anyone watch Stamkos last night?.....

Holloway looks like a bottom line grinder and he's American. I could totally see Bergevin and Timmins pick him.
