I really like Trouba and I only think he'll get better and I don't really advocate trading him at all

but, if the team did trade him before Oct 9th, considering the new world we live in with an uncertain cap and the Rangers depth on RHD, I would understand it

It's horrid business if you trade Trouba. Rangers are getting in a bad habbit of signing players and trading/buying-out players a year or two later. You'll never get a high-profiles player to sign here again if they keep it up. There's no reason to trade Trouba...at all.

As much fun as it was watching the Stanley Cup get awarded, the reality is that several Tampa Bay players won't be on the team in less than a month...

We do not need TDA! Trade him now save the 5M plus cap hit!!! We are stocked with good RHD which is not a bad thing, however we do not need him as a player, we need Center and LHD. We should make the trade with Tampa for Cirelli this would be huge for us and we could also trade Strome as well and get at the very least an early number 2 pick also saving another 5 to 6 M Cap hit we don't need!!! We could also keep Fast with all of this and move on a rock star player for the playoffs next year!!!!
