Eichel would get the Sabres 5 premium pieces, a treasure trove of assets, Botcoin, Murrency. But he's not going anywhere because GMKA always gets his man.

I know they won't get it, but with what the Jets are supposedly asking for Laine, most teams wouldn't be able to afford what Eichel would cost, they would be just as bad as the Sabres cause of what they had to give up.

Lafreniere,Shesterkin,Miller is a good start to a deal. I'd say Nils Lundkqvist and the second 2020 1st rounder would get the deal done.

Trading Eichel for Alexis Lafreniere, Igor Shesterkin, K'Andre Miller, Lias Andersson, plus a 2021 first round pick.

That would be cause to think about trading him! Then spend that 2021 1st and Mountour or Risto for a decent stop gap Center and wait for your prospect centers to develop.

Perhaps a Laine + for Eichel swap could resolve issues for both teams?

Eichel is great and all but NYR would have to be braindead to make that proposed trade.
BUF and Edm continually prove that one or two great players with next to no supporting cast ain't enough.

Throw in the 10 mill cap hit and....

Man you bring up a great trade one that could be irristable on both sides...Eichel with Kakko Mika and Artemi would put Rangers in great shape contending wise..meanwhile Buffalo with Lafreniere and Miller would offset such a great loss...not saying it would happen but hmm what if it has to?

Less...Lindros was like McDavid/Crosby right after being drafted at the time and there was no cap
