AGAIN.. It's time to move on, The Sharks never won the SC with both Thornton & Marleau in their prime what makes DW they will do it now. While were bringing in OLD players why not sign Corey Perry & play him with Thornton & Marleau, Call them the Senior Citizens line ... DW needs to get a plan & not have anymore man crushes

Right now, the Sharks have 4 legitimate Top 6 forwards: Couture, Kane, Hertl, and Meier. Patty has the speed still to play up to the 2nd line and probably has the greatest potential to score compared to other current roster members. I would move Burns up to forward; have Jumbo/LeBanc/Sorenson as the 3rd line; Kellman, Noesen. Melker as the 4th line. Gambrell, True, Suomella, Gregor,Bergmann have work to do to stay up with the big club. Leonard needs a year of seasoning in the AHL and while Blichfeld has a snipers shot, his 200 foot game needs to improve. We will see if Chmelevski and Chekovich improve.
On D, we need to sign Heed and probably a serviceable UFA Dman. Merkley needs to play in the AHL all year. There are a couple of potential prospects for the 6/7 Dman that were playing in the AHL last year.
Goal will be interesting to see if Jones game has improved with the extended rest he has had and see what happens with Dell. Jones is 30 and Fleury is 35. Does he want to play with a team that has holes to fill? Craig Anderson would be a perfect #2 for next season or even bring Greiss back depending on his salary demands.
