Absolutely. I agree with the theory that the team receiving the best individual player is the winner (within reason). A 3-way trade may be the answer, as the Isles would still need to shed a bad contract, and neither team can facilitate that. Maybe:

Jets 2nd + Clutterbuck to (ott/NJ/Mtl)
Barzal to Wpg
Laine and Niku to Isles


Jets give up a lot, but its worth Barzal.
Isles free up cap space for Pullock and get the high-risk high-reward sniper
Cap available team receives a 3rd line player and a 2nd for their inconvenience.

The third team (Ott/NJ/Mtl) needs to give up something, even a 5th rounder, arguably that would go to Winnipeg
