Yes I dont think most people knowhow hard Eklund works and really what an E4 takes. E4 means more than 2 sources connected to the player or team is relaying this information. Sources are also finite and reporters have lightning speed compared to Eklund who make sure its safe to post something. Reporting rumours is delicate work. But really fun to be on this side of it.

Also yes a good fit fir Mikko. Unexpected but good. Not much media attention but a die hard young fan base. Will even out lines for sure on the ice.

What is Jarmo's plan for this draft/FA period ?? Waste of money & roster space. I don't get it.
We don't need depth players - we have them out the wazoo - we need a needle-moving forward. He was a really solid player years ago, but at this point what's left in the tank ??

R-E-L-A-X. It’s not even the end of day #2. All the big fish are taking their time with no courting period like there’d the last few years. This is Wennberg at 1/4 the cost for one year. Also it lets Boone move back to wing. Plenty of time to still get Hall, Hoffman, Dadanov, or Granlund. Also still possibly a trade or two.

I get that. Hall would fit the "needle mover" criteria - but none of the others would. I'm hoping Jarmo has a couple of trades to pull. Except that he's given away almost all the ammo. Really can't trade more D-men - given up Murray and Nutivarra for peanuts. About all that's left is one of the goalies, picks & prospects.
