Good for Mikko. I am rooting for Columbus this year. Would like to see him raise a cup after playing for a bunch of choke artists for almost 2 decades. He's earned it for being loyal

If the Wild were choke artists during Mikko's career, doesn't that make him part of the problem? Maybe you are new to hockey but the Wild were not choking - they just were not that good.

Sorry, but whining a player wouldn't waive their NTC is ridiculous. Koivu only agreed to stay in MN because the team agreed he wouldn't be forced to move mid contract. He shouldn't be criticized for expecting Wild to hold up their part of the bargain.

If the Wild were choke artists during Mikko's career, doesn't that make him part of the problem? Maybe you are new to hockey but the Wild were not choking - they just were not that good.

Not new to hockey, chief. But I'm guessing you are, because otherwise you would have realized that not EVERY SINGLE PIECE of a team is the problem. Now I am not saying he wasn't, but 2 decades of management, coaching and player changes didn't fix the problem, so maybe it's the scouting a development mentality that is the long driving issue to their downfall. Not just 1 player
