I think Laviolette plays Jensen more than you think. I would certainly hope he does instead of Siegenthaler. That guy is a liability anytime on ice.

The core is getting older for sure, let's hope he can squeeze another good year or two out of them.

I'm glad Holtby is gone, he couldn't catch a flu... But somehow never missed a chance to express his wife's political views

Thanks for the comment @kastr99 ! I agree, Jensen was one of our better defenders in the playoffs last year. Definitely more consistent than Siegenthaler.

Travis Boyd signed a one-year deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs, 1year deal worth $700k. This is a good depth signing for the Leafs. Boyd could shine in Toronto like Stephenson has in Vegas.

I have a feeling Boyd won't have a fair chance with his skills set in Toronto either. With the depth the Leafs have, 4th line wing is his best case scenario for this season. He won't be gifted 2nd line center like Stephenson was in Vegas. I wish he would have signed with a team starving for a 3C like Ottawa, Minnesota, or the Kings. Oh well, maybe next year.
