I love it. I think he will be a monster for Montreal. I get the hesitation, especially after the injury, but if he gets back to the player he was with Columbus before last year, thats a good deal.

The Anderson contract may work out for them in the end just seems like a Komarovish overpayment. Unnecessary imo.

Good vet presence for that team imo. If I were a Leaf fan I would be happy about it for 700,000 but they really didn’t address their defense or bottom 6 depth. I guess Simmons can potentially transform into Simmons five years ago but I wouldn’t bet on that. If I were the Leafs I would’ve made a push for Brandon Lemieux or a player or two along those lines.

Totally agree on Brandon Lemieux. They don’t need Jumbo imho. They need to address their D and grit which a BL type player would have def done.
They have vet presence but Grandpa Jumbo could be vet presence for the vets on the Leafs that aren’t much of an influence like Pajama Boy.
