Even Bad Fitz could crush the Jets. They have a legit chance to go 0-16. The only game that was close had a defensive TD playing against Denver's 8th string QB or whatever, and 1-7 ain't much either.

Hot take:

Ryan Fitzpatrick should make the HoF when all is said and done.

161 GP; 144 GS; 57-86-1 Record

3006 COMP; 4957 ATT; 60.6 PCT;

34,230 YDS; 217 TD; 166 INT; 82 RTG

If he keeps up his current pace, he will possibly hit 40k. He holds or has tied several

NFL records:

Most consecutive regular season games with at least two touchdown passes in one stadium during one season: 9 (MetLife Stadium, 2015)

Most career touchdown passes by an Ivy League graduate: 214

First quarterback to start a game against one opponent (Jacksonville Jaguars) with six different teams (St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins)

First quarterback to throw four touchdown passes in a single game with five different teams (Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers)

First quarterback to start and win against same opponent (Jacksonville Jaguars) with six different teams

Most touchdown passes of at least 50 yards through a team's first two games – 4 (tied with Joe Namath)

Most consecutive games of 400 yards passing and four touchdowns to begin a season – 2 (2018)

Most consecutive games of 400 yards passing to begin a season – 3 (2018)

Most consecutive games of 400 yards passing – 3 (2018)

Most games with at least 400 passing yards in a single season – 4 (tied with Peyton Manning and Dan Marino)

Bills franchise records:

Longest touchdown pass by a Bills player: 98 yards (against Jacksonville Jaguars on November 22, 2009)

Texans franchise records:

Most passing touchdowns in a single game: 6 (against Tennessee Titans on November 30, 2014)

Jets franchise records:

Most passing touchdowns in a single season: 31 (2015)

Buccaneers franchise records:

Only QB with consecutive weeks of 400 yards passing: Weeks 1–3, 2018

Only QB to pass for 400 yards multiple times in a season: 4 (2018)

Most consecutive weeks of having a passer rating of at least 140.0 in a season: 2 (2018)

Most touchdown passes in the first three weeks of a season: 11 (2018)

Most games with at least 4 touchdown passes in a season: 3 (2018)

He's a poor-man's Brett Favre and is the greatest player in NFL history to never have played in a playoff game. He has more career passing yards than Troy Aikman and Steve Young, 2 HoF QB's.

Ryan Fitzpatrick should make the HoF when all is said and done, imo.

Looking to possibly get a remote job. Have to live by a larger airport than I currently do. Can anyone in the Buffalo area tell me about the Hamburg area?
- gcomella34

Town or Village? I'm not currently there, but I grew up in the Town, and my mom still lived there until recently. I'm also fairly familiar with the Village. Anything in particular you wanted to know about?

It's a great area. Just about everything you would need is readily available. It has an elite Wegmans. One potentially annoying thing is that the Thruway toll booth is just before the Hamburg exits (you can take the 219 to avoid the toll booths if you actually care about this), and that's the way you'd want to go to the airport. If you want to get to Buffalo, you go Route 5 over the Skyway or onto the 190. Having ready access to both the 90 and the 190 is pretty convenient, actually.

Record low interest rates will do that.

Come to my neck of the woods. You better come in 30-35k over ask on a 300k property just to have a chance around here. It’s pretty crazy.

That's good since my mom is selling her house right now.

The Village is nuts. House doesn’t last listed more than a few days and is getting more than asking as it’s a bidding war. Bought mine for $95k in 07 and would get no less than $220-240k if I put it up. It’s crazy.

Veteran committee elect possible especially if he gets to 40k passing yards. If memory serves me correctly, that would put him top 20.

I never knew all of that about Fitz, cool post. Even with all of that, most will never consider him because he’s never won in the playoffs. Probably would be long after he retires, if ever.

Edit; Like Dadeadhead says, probably will wait until a veteran’s committee votes him in.

Really nice area. Has everything you need. The village is really nice and you can park and walk to restaurants and bars.

Currently live here. A lot of new builds going in and being discussed. If looking for a house be prepared to act quick. Houses come and go within a few days.

PM me with any questions.

He's just a nice story and a super guy ... love the dude. Oh, and a GREAT beard. Who doesn't love Fitz ?

But that doesn't get you into the HOF.

Exactly. Fitz is a nice feel good story of a grinder who battled from team to team to start. Then ultimately fails. He’s a great teammate and great guy for the community.

And for us bills fans, he still loves buffalo

Big if ..... it fitz actually had a good arm he would have been a really good QB.

He clearly can read defenses and is smart. But with some of his throws .... his noodle arm gets him into trouble and he throws INTs.

Fitz is nowhere near talented enough to get in. This is like Chris Osgood in the NHL

I’m interested to see what 2021 brings. If unemployment remains the same or even continues to increase, and the number of mortgage delinquencies continue to rise, while the forbearance program ends and people are forced to make mortgage payments, that could create quite the storm that leads to a housing market crash around 2022-2023

I mean I’d rather not see a housing market crash that devastates millions around the world but at the same time one has to acknowledge the possibility of the effects of the pandemic and unlimited supply of money being poured into the economy.
