Disagree.

KC in the 2nd half was control the clock and keep the offense off the field.

Run the ball for 6 yards a clip and let teh clock roll.

IF they wanted to, KC could have gone to another level, IMO.

defense matters...it might not be the be-all/end-all, but it matters...

patriots beat the greatest show on turf 20-13 in 2002
patriots beat the high-powered l.a. rams 13-3 two years ago

denver beat carolina 24-10 with terrible qb play from manning in 2016

One way or the other adjustments need to be made to the D. If that doesn't happen and we don't improve we are going nowhere as a team.

Helaire got 6.2 yards per carry and over 160 yards

singletary and moss combined got 2.8 yards per carry and 42 yards

I think the rbs and o line need a come to Jesus moment

To be fair to the defence, they went into the game basically daring the Chiefs to run.

They had a lot of nickel and dime sets and had multiple DB’s on the field from what I could tell for a majority of the game.

They were not going to let Mahomes beat them deep and score quickly and let the game get away from them, which they essentially succeeded in doing for the better chunk of 3 quarters.

They employed a bend and don’t break defence between the 20’s but forgot to cover that Kelce guy once the Chiefs got down to the red zone.

It was a given the Chiefs were going to run for 100+ with the looks the Bills were showing, McDermott ultimately had to think Reid was going to get impatient and revert to trying to push the ball down field.

In the game of chicken, Reid ultimately ran the ball 40+ times and took what the defence gave them and remained patient. Mahomes made the plays he had to make up 7 at the end of the game to seal the deal.

Good post
Bill's played 2 really good teams back to back.

Titans- Bill's took the ball out of Henry's hand and had tannenhille beat them - by design

Chiefs- Bill's took the ball out of mahomes hand. Had the running game beat them.

Arguably the best nfl rb and qb they designed a game plan to stop them. Pick your poison

Bill's haven't been able to get of the field when it mattered the most the last few games. Today alone in the 4th Quarter the KC started 2 drives inside there own 15yrd line, and we couldn't do what needed to be done, and stop them.

Yep, cant get off the field and cant make a big play on either defense or special teams. How about a pick 6 , kick return or punt return?

This boils down to zero pass rush. No panic plays by the opposing QBs

Even when they happen to get a rush or pressure on Mahomes there was no containment and are LB's were 15yrds down the field. Seems like there is no communication going on down on the field, with all the new players on D they can't seem to get on the same page.

Yeah, the bills played a lot of zone defense vs the chiefs and the linebackers played 5 to 10 yards back. They sort of prayed and banked on a 4 man pass rush. Which clearly failed

They got a lot of work to do Boss, gotta straighten some stuff out fast, or it really could derail the season.

They got some work ahead of them, and it's not just the D, Oline needs to get better, need to get that run game going. Even just a little bit, get the play action going again, it will help disrupt the other teams zone coverage.

The bend don’t break defense doesn’t work if u eventually break

We couldn’t stop the run
And the middle of the field was wide open again in the pass

We have a bad defense right now, period.

And Allen needs to be better for us to beat the
good teams we are gonna be playing this season & in the playoffs

I figured the defense would take a step back,
but not this bad

We spent $$$ to bring in a bunch of “rotational” players instead of a couple “difference makers”

Sure looks like that was a big mistake

Yeah, I actually thought Jefferson would be doing better than he has, and didn't really think much of Star opting out, wow was I wrong.

Yeah, you are definitely being bias. Our defense was beat up on some bad QBs and made average ones look good

I agree.

Even if they need to get creative with their run game or even incorporate more screen passes or quick passes to the flats/slant routes to get him into high percentage short yardage throws to get them into more manageable third downs will help.

Good news
- Bill's are 4-2 , where many thought they would be before the season started
- Josh has played several really very good games, looks more accurate
- Offense has a couple really good players added in WR's Diggs and Davis
- Moss, when healthy looks like he belongs, should be better once he gets more action
- punter coming along, improving his game

Bad News
- Defense has been pretty bad in run and passing game
game
- Josh has had a couple of rough games...who is he?
- Injuries keep stacking up to key personnel, rather than depth personnel, on O-line, WR, TE, DB, LB and DL
- depth players, especially on D just aren't good enough.

McBean has work to do, assuming Milano can come back sooner than later, their biggest need is on the Dline to contain the run (those run gaps were 10 yards wide) especially, and to apply pass rush pressuring the QB up the middle.

Only 2 weeks left to make moves. Get on the Bat Phone, stat!
