Jesus Christ. 2 first and a 1st line RW For a better 1st line RW?

Hall Eichel Cozens
Skinner Staal Kane
Olofsson Eakin Thompson

That nine would be built to go deep. We could just keep not winning though, that is really fun too.

we’d be a two line team. No two line teams “go deep” with 0 flexibility to do anything else to the roster.

10+ to Kane
10 to Eichel
8-9 at least to Hall if he stays
9 to Skinner
Staal is here for one year and then maybe Cozens takes over. Then you’re searching for a RW2 with no $ to spend

If either of the two previous GM’s (or this one frankly) knew how to draft maybe we’d have in house cheap replacements. We don’t

Andrew Peters and Rivet were talking Blackhawks today. Specifically Reinhart, Risto, Mitts and next year's first for Kane.

There's a lot to chew on there, but I think Hall-Eichel-Kane might be the best line in hockey if it were to happen. No one could stop that

- jcragcrumple

Id see if the would Take Okpso back in a deal to offset celery.

Give them Okposo, Reinhart Picks and prospects for Kaner

I mean nothing like tying up 70% of your cap to four forwards while having a crappy bottom 6, crappy defence corps, and crappy goaltending.

Seems to be working well for Toronto with all of the playoff success they have had lately.

Okposo, Reinhart, Samuelsson, Mittelstadt, a 1st and a 3rd

Is that in the ball park?

Having a 1 line team worked for Boston and Edmonton.

Okposo is making $6m on Larry duty. Reinhart will be north of $6 this year.

Id take Kane at $10.5 over that duo at $12+

Sure works for me.

Doubt it does or Chicago.

ALso for everyone saying why would teams take on a cap dump.

When the Sabres were rebuilding they took cap dumps all teh time.

My dream team post:

Okposo, Reinhart, Mitts, Samuelsson, 1st, 3rd for Kane

Risto for a 4th

Soderberg 1 yr $3

Hall-Eichel-Kane
Skinner-Staal-Cozens
Olofsson-Soderberg-Thompson
Girgs-Lazar-Eakin

That would be the best forward group in the East imo and it actually sheds salary.

Ok I'm done dreaming

Matthews and Eichel have the same amount of playoff series wins.

What good is making the playoffs if you don’t do anything when you get there ?

Moving the moon and the stars to get a $10.5M 31 year old winger doesn’t do much for me unless we are basically getting him for a package consisting of a collection of one or more of Risto, Montour, Okposo, Hutton.

Don’t see why Okposo would waive to go to Chicago and don’t see why Chicago would want that assortment of crap for him anyways.

Moving Reinhart for Kane just to simply be a better team this year and shortening the cup window to go for it now doesn’t make much sense to me either.

Toronto put Matthews, Tavares and Marner on the same line and got bounced in 5 games.

Let’s fix the defense and goaltending first

I think Singletary is a good back also, but the production just isn’t there right now.

That’s all I’m saying.

I agree, the o line and d line have been rough.

Josh allen is able to mask the deficiency on offense , when he's playing mvp football.

D line is exposed. Tremaine, milano and others cant control a game on defense

Can you imagine the point total for that line? I think they would have a shot at 300 points as a group. It would be an absolute all star line
- jcragcrumple

Can you imagine the line combos if we traded for kane

Kane - eichel- girgensons
Girgensons- eichel - kane
Hall - eichel - girgensons
Girgensons- eichel - hall

Hall - girgensons- kane ???

Hall-Eichel-Kane

Would be absolutely incredible to watch.

Unfortunately though there is a salary cap and we need better goaltending and a defence man who can play the left side that doesn’t throw up all over himself
