And we'll see about your goaltending remark. Leafs are paying almost 10 million less for goalies against the cap and I think they can be better. Andersen (Who I do not like for the record), has posted better numbers for half the cap the past 3 years than Price. Campbell has put up some damn good numbers (928 save % in LA 2 years ago) and makes 1.4 the next 2 years. For 10.5 Price better be better than 909% this upcoming year.

Habs just don't have anyone close to the likes of what Matthews, Marner Nylander will do this year. Nylander is Leafs 4th best forward (Some argue 5th, I don't) and he would have been the Habs best forward last year. And remember, those 3 are 24 and under. They are only getting better.

I'll take Leafs D now, thanks. Younger, faster, more talented.


Habs should have just done a full rebuild. Price and Weber will need to be replaced soon enough. This half-assed rebuild with overpaying UFAs won't work.
