I can't stand that rule. Seems it happens to a lot of Duck kids... Having gotten that out of the way.. He gets 9 games this yr for sure.

Next yr.. He's a stalwart..

If there is any hope for the Duck's it's going to be on the backend. John Gibson, Hampus Lindholm, Cam Fowler, Josh Manson, Kevin Shattenkirk need to anchor this team and keep the team close while adding as many points as possible. So I don't think we need to let Drysdale play this year.

Before the Shattenkirk deal, I would have 100% guaranteed that he would play with the Ducks, especially for a shortened season. Now, he's going back after his 9 games (or whatever the hell it'll be in this bastardized season.) It would be nice to have him play 3rd pairing minutes but what's the point? Let him kick ass in juniors and be full of confidence in 2021.

Just like Byfield, if he looks good in Training camp and his 9 games then no reason to put him down in my opinion. But like someone said, the addition of Shattenkirk might have just put him in Juniors even if he looks good. I’d say keep him though if he looks good.

He's going to be like nothing we've seen on the backend in some time.

There's a YouTube video out of Jamie skating backwards, and defending, faster than the attacking forward was skating normally. Haven't had that skill-set on the blue line since Niedermayer and there's no Carlyle to reign him in.

The Carlyle did give 18yr old Cam solid minutes as rookie... so there is that.. gotta give props for that.

2 years but you should wait for 3.

Keep tanking and draft even half as good as hextall and you’ll get out of the basement.

Yeah, but that was such a freaking fluke it's unbelievable. I think that was more Scott's doing than Carlyle's.
