Didn't say Leafs got worse.. did state the obvious, they got slower but nastier. Don't think they need to add any more slow guys.

I think they will be better overall and that's the goal.

There is no denying Leafs got bigger and nastier... but they also got a hell'uva lot slower... Enough on adding pylons..

And skating NR on the wing with Jumbo slow is not smart. Have Kerfoot between NR and Wayne.

2. Do the 30 other teams or the Cup winning teams or the teams that win a few rounds in the playoffs just have lightning fast, skilled guys?


PS...Pavelski, who is one of the worst skaters in the league, killed it for Dallas in the POs. Winning > Fast!

I might go to bed early and not see many Sharks games ever, but I never remember Thornton being a burner? He's had a fantastic career without elite foot speed, how is he suddenly unplayable because he's a slower skater?
