Thornton isn't a goal scorer. He'll rack up the assists. If Simmonds is healthy I don't see any reason why he can't score 20.

Thornton has been slow his whole career and he’s done ok. He’s played with all kinds of players. I think he’ll be fine. He can still pass and he can still teach the kids and unlike Marleau he’s here on a one year, league minimum contract. We’re not freaking out.
