I see a 3rd line of
Nylander Strome Pirri

So we can watch them chase the puck their entire shift

- BetweenTheDots

All you need is someone who could really pound a howitzer on net from the blue line. Alas Gusrafsson and Runsblad have departed! I have not learned how to use the red font

Barring any transactions, I think that's the 7 who is likely the set you start with. Reading between the lines, Seabrook is likely the 7th man.

Keith - Murphy
Zadorov - Boqvist
de Haan - Mitchell
Seabrook

Carlsson is next in line.

- Theo Fox

Same. Would like to see Beaudin get a cup of coffee at some point also.

In California, you probably won t be seeing fans at games for at least another year. They still don t know when they are going to partially open a Disneyland.
- LAHawk

I disagree with no fans for at least a year. Between the number of people who have recovered from COVID, and the fact that a vaccine will be available before the end of the year, we should be fully opened by April or May.

California has a lot of restrictions in many areas, not only regarding the covid. High property value (highest in country, perhaps, Los Angeles County & Frisco is outrageous cost of living), a nightmare of homeless people. People are moving away from California, including political commentator Liz Wheeler. California is probably one of the last states to ease the assembly restrictions at events. Sports, movies, concerts, Saddleback & other churches. Wild fires have saturated the state and made air quality poor. Each year you worry about wild fires.

A vaccine that works 100%. The one Trump took works only for mild cases

I foresee a real challenge to get everyone a vaccine. Free? Anyway, there is homeless and poor whom are difficult to reach in bad neighborhoods. How do you stop homeless and poor people from using public transportation and hanging at fast food places. Does a vaccine stop all strains? For how long. Could be minor spikes in covid even two years after a vaccine?

I know it's not a summer sport, but honestly if hockey really wanted to increase their market in the states, i would think about starting the season in May or June this way you only have to compete against baseball and i imagine you'd have more fans traveling to Canadiens cities to catch a hockey game

Carlsson will sub for deHahn and never leave.

I could see Biqvust with same struggle, and Beaudin switch with him. Let Boqvist work for a while on the things in prevention, defensively, like Beaudin has done.

I want to see a more confidant Boqvist in 2021 2022 season and working on his craft in Rockford is a possibility.

I'm not a big Bowman fan but I'm hoping he has learned from all his experience and uses it well to build a team that can compete for a Stanley Cup.

I have to ask, if Stan isn't the man then who would you bring in?

- BetweenTheDots

Stan is the man it would appear for a while longer. Rocky sounds on board with a rebuild. I am guessing that Bowman sold Rocky on a team trying to stay competitive with an aging core after three Cups....is.just slipping and headed for big pain later on. Successful rebuild must include good drafting. Bowman has drafted fairly well past few drafts. Let us see how a Barret, a J Wise and others develop too. Let us see whim they draft in 2021. We are so likely to get a really good dman or center. The dmen development might start to look very promising after next season. But we need a good coach too. Is Colliton good enough?

Theo,

Any early favorites to want us to draft in the 2022 Entry Draft. Tempting to go with style per team need at either defence or center. It is really exciting because there is a glut of centers and dmen expected to go early and actually through first round. Reports all agree no clear cut #1. Eight teams could each choose different on the top choice.

90% I am moving to Vegas when my boss moves his business. Growing up, everyone wanted to move to California, exact opposite now. Worst. Part is the local and state legislatures are so out of touch, they think nobody is going to move no matter how much tax and regulation they do. Only industry doing well is social media, they have cooked every other industry to death.

Stan’s cap management is still worse, everything Stan does is the worst.

I’d like to see Stan take Roslovic off Chevy’s hands.

No vaccine I’m aware of is 100% effective. The flu shot isn’t and my guess is this will become an annual immunization for all once vaccines start getting FDA approval.

For people insured, their insurance will cover it like a flu shot. For the uninsured it will likely be made available for free through public health departments.

I know in Chicago there used to be mobile units I believe that we’re oart of the Public Health System that would do needle exchange programs, giving out clean needles and immunizing people for Hep A and B.

I know there is a possibility that the goaltending and team defense is a dumpster fire but I still don’t see the Wings finishing ahead of the Hawks.

Guessing you meant the 2021 draft, not 2022.

Too early to say but strategy should always be best player available in the 1st round.

Aatu Raty was rated #1 for a long while but has dropped.

There's a trio of players headed to the University of Michigan who are getting a lot of play. Owen Powers, Matthew Beniers, and another kid I can't think of. I think it's Brandt Clarke.

There's also Mason McTavish and Dylan Guenther.

Powers and Clarke are defenders everyone else except Guenther (W) is a center.

Trump wasn’t administered a vaccine - only test subjects so far have been given a vaccine. He was given therapeutics of varying effectiveness - perhaps they contributed to his rapid recovery, perhaps he was lucky.

When a vaccine is approved and ready for distribution (which probably won’t be until the end of December, perhaps up to a month earlier), it will hopefully be 70% effective, perhaps less. That’s typical for vaccines - and is enough (if taken by a sufficient part of the population) to create the herd immunity every one is looking for.

If a vaccine is (or several vaccines are) approved in December, several hundred million doses (figuring two doses per person) will have to be produced, stored, and distributed. Some of this has begun, but not a lot. In addition to producing the vaccine, they need vials, syringes, other stuff, and the capacity to store the vaccines at very cold temperatures.

The consensus estimate is that this all won’t happen until the end of the first quarter, or into the second, of next year. Then - several months to get masses of people vaccinated.

And all of this assumes people will agree to be vaccinated in sufficient numbers. Polls so far show that only about 50% say they would.

Never mind. St Louis Brave gave the answer just a tad above this post. I read that he was given a yet to be approved ??? Which only works for mild cases.

Wiz speaks highly on Raty. All you mention you can see in draftsite.com preview.

I don't know we can say what position we would prefer to draft, center or defense. Too early to say. I am of the belief that best player available should be the determining factor whom to select in round one. We do need a cycle boards top line player and a stud dman who has a punishing physical game. That is, to even get to the playoffs as we are abysmal now in those areas. The truth hurts.
