I don't consider ZacMac a kid any longer.
I got him pencilled in my roster.

Raff, Juolevi and Rathbone i suspect will get a taste to fill in that #6 role.
I hope one grabs it and doesn't let it go.
Get that 4th straight Calder vote!

Hoglander should stay in Sweden if he doesn't make the club out of camp (like Gaudette did) and there is no AHL to play in.

Hawryluk should be the bottom 6 fill in.

Lind i'd be surprised. Maybe.

This is reasonable to start the season. But good bet Tree and Podz will factor in later on too. Could be great timing with injuries at that point to fill in.

By the way Hogs has an out clause to return to SHL club if he doesn't make the roster from camp. He's in tough for starting job so not sure if depth sub is worth it.

I mean he’s played what 15-20 nhl games ? He’s 100% a kid. I think Lind will get some games at some point.

These are unprecedented times in Calgary. They are pulling out all the stops to ensure they have an improved line up this year. I have been informed that former Canuck Marcus Naslund will be coming out of retirement and signing a 2 year $6m deal tomorrow.

Splitting hairs here.
He's 24 and had 4 years as a pro (between Utica/Vancouver).

in my completely arbitrary brain, he's no longer a kid.
i'll consider OJ, Bone, Lind, Hogs and Pods as the rookies.

I mean. Elias Petersson and Hughes are still only 21, but they've got that experience.

Lockwood?
- Shuswap Wap

Kids like Lind and Lockwood will end up having their careers take them to Europe. They’re not NHL quality players.

I think Lind will be a quality bottom 6 player. He has got the “it” factor. A real wiener that works hard. With some skill mixed in

If he could skate or was stronger I’d agree. I’m with Lefty but man I’d love to be wrong. Would love to have a poop disturber like him in the lineup

He has the will to improve. It’s the differentiator for these fringe prospects. You can already see the transformation in his game. From scoring winger to pest. He is smart enough and wants it bad enough to make adjustments. But yes, fingers crossed
