I'm surprised at how many people dislike Holl.

He isn't anything spectacular, but he slotted in the top-4 and did a fine job paired with Muzzin. Dermott, for the record, did not. I still have faith in Dermott, but Holl is proof that you still need to be better than Dermott is at the moment to play those tougher assignments.

If Lehtonen can come in and play those minutes, then Holl is probably too expensive to be a 7th spare. But I'd think he still has a purpose until he loses that role.

People want underpaid superstars as the 3 and 4 guys. Holl is adequate for his spot at this time.

I like that its 1 year. Its good for Dermott to prove himself as well as he doesn't need expansion protection since he doesn't have a contract for the following year.

I always hope players for teams I don't like win their arbitration and get more money but I think Buttalo's number is closer than the players here.
