I don't know that I would count out Hakanpaa as a contender too. He only played like 5 games with the ducks, but is a big right shot D who I don't think looked out of place, granted it was a small sample size.

You're certainly right that he could be in the mix but personally, I don't see him getting a spot over most of the players listed.

I don’t think Murray signed Curran for two years ... to be sending him down. Djoos also I think is a lock... Jacob is solid... I have to think most nights they roll 7 dmen.

Agree. Curran also had success quarterbacking the power play in Sweden. It will be an embarrassment of riches for the Ducks if he can bring that success to the NHL. My God, the top 2 power play units for the Ducks being run by someone who can actually run them?!?!?
Here's what I think the defensive groupings will be,

Lindholm - Fowler
Shattenkirk - Manson
Curran- Djoos
7th/San Diego Larsson(I'm still not sold on him), Guhle, Mahura.

I agree with you, Ben, on Miller. He's been practicing with the Ducks and rumor is he will sign a deal once the league figures out what the season will look like. If there is a bubble situation that takes place, I've heard he won't sign until they're out of the bubble, then he'll sign. Either way, he's the back up.
