Turris and Barrie are both pretty good hockey players that are significant improvements over what they had.
Unless Valimaki can step in and immediately be a stud, the Flames are more or less the same as last year.
That being said, if Rittich can go back to being a phenomenal backup, they should probably win their division.

Klefbom is out for at least half the season. We’ve seen Barrie do horribly as a top pairing defenseman time and again. Last year Barrie could barely tread water defensively after Reilly went down.
Nurse can barely handle the minutes he gets already and Bear is so overrated. I ain’t worried man.
The only thing I’m worried about with the Oilers is that Mike Smith has had extra time off to get on top of his injuries. When he’s not insisting on playing through groin injuries he can steal a game from any team.
