Flyers are better than 4 years ago, but they're not better than they were last year.
Sad, but true.
Guess we'll see what Lindblom can bring, probably try a few prospects out along the way and see if Nolan Patrick can actually play again.
Not super-excited about next year, though. We'll certainly crack the playoffs, but beyond that, well.......yeah, guess we'll see. |

I'm not trying to bash EK here but I totally agree with just about everything you said about the NJ Devils.
We didn't move Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson. Other way around.
Our best draft pick wasn't Mikey McLeod who still can't get on this roster and looks like a bust. It was Jesper Bratt who actually broke into the league and has been successful. But you could also put Joey Anderson who we just traded for Andreas Johnsson ahead of McLeod too. Heck, Nathan Bastian is more likely to make this team next season AND has already been more successful when called up (and in the AHL). So short story long, McLeod is likely a bust.
BUT really, calling last years team better then anything is ridiculous. They stunk. Even when they started winning games they stunk. They just got insane goaltending. It was ugly hockey.
The only thing better about this team then four years ago is John Hynes is gone and we have a very good farm system. We are deep in prospects, are young and have lots of cap space. |

yeah the canucks are a joke franchise that much is for sure.
and their numbskull fans think trevor linden is some kinda hockey saint because he had a good run at 23 playing in the 94 playoffs and pretty much quit paying any kind of price to his pretty face afterwards.
