Thanks for posting. A couple of those are slick, slick moves.

No problem!

Here's another little clip of him with the puck. Kind of reminds me of Nylander in a way.

Edit: just noticed the person who posted the video on twitter basically said the same darn thing

Like a dictator, Scabby declares this thread to be a politics-free zone.

Do you hate free speech, Scabby?

Why don't you just move to Russia?

That's funny. He does have that sort of move where he holds it looking for an in, and tries to pull the defender into biting. Looking forward to seeing a bit more of his game.

I'm in no hurry to see him over here but interesting fact ...he's only 3 weeks younger than Robertson.

You almost never get to hear, but I'd like to know where the Leafs had Amirov in their depth chart of prospects. If Askarov had been available, would he have been preferrable?

When Burke came out of the 2012 draft and proclaimed that they would have taken Morgan Rielly first overall had they chosen there, everyone (including me) was saying, "Sure, Burkie. Sure." But it turns out they would have. And it turned out pretty well.

Yup. Burke sounded like an idiot back then, he's looking pretty damn smart today.

Ya we'll never know but it sounds like there was a generally accepted top 10-12. After that I'm sure KD's list was heavily tilted towards the skill/IQ guys like Amirov. I had assumed Jarvis and Amirov were high (outside of the top 10) on his list.

Pfft. Trump already has Scott Atlas who’s a three-fer, advocating supply-side economics, climate science denial and “intelligent design” which is updated creationism. Can’t get more sciencey than that.

Made some fusion hainan style kung-pow chicken legs last night

Poached some chicken legs in a soy broth with garlic and ginger, cooked the rice in the broth after they were done

On the side made a veg kung-pow with carrot, broccoli, onion, cashew

sauce made of hoisin, leftover rosé, rice vinegar, balsamic vinegar, asian chili paste, some cornstarch dissolved in cold water to thicken, and some szechuan peppercorns for a bit of extra zing

chop legs up with a cleaver, serve on bed of rice, dress with kung-pow veg, garnish with diced scallion and you're off to the races

also you can't just tease bourbon onion apple porkchops and just leave it there, out with the recipe already

Sounds awesome. Did you pull the recipe together yourself? I’ve gotten lazy over dinner. I’m eating half of them by myself so hard to get motivated. More into soups for lunch, baking.

The recipe is a combination of techniques I pulled from other recipes...

In general kung pow is a reduced sweet and sour thickened with cornstarch,

and the chicken legs inspired by hainan chicken rice. So i just kinda winged it.

btw if you've never made a whole hainan chicken with rice, I highly recommend. The definition of simple asian comfort food.

This is a good one: https://thewoksoflife.com...%B5%B7%E5%8D%97%E9%B8%A1/
