Agree. Rust is the best candidate for this. He’s the only one who really outperformed his expectations.

I'm expecting McCann to have bad year in terms of production. If his linemates are Erod and Jank for at least the first couple of months he will probably see a major dip in points.

maybe Jarry?

33GP last season: 92.1 SV%

26 GP in 18/19: 90.8 SV%

(last year mostly in AHL, 91.5%)

I'm going Rust as well, but Jarry would be my second choice.

Yeah but for this prediction to come true, the Pens top 6 has to stay mostly healthy for 2 months.

More likely McCann gets a lot of top 6 time filling in for one injury or another and that 3rd line becomes even worse and essentially becomes the 4th line.

If you are pointing to Jarry's drop off to the 18/19 or AHL level... that is not much of a big drop off.

Also no JJ should counteract such things.

I think you might be on to something here. Geno especially but both seem to be slowing down with age and injuries catching up to them.

Injuries catching up to them? They have both missed large portions throughout their career due to injury, its not just some new thing in the last few years.
