My favorite team is Detroit
My second favorite team is Quebec (bring back the Nords!)
My least favorite team is...used to be Chicago, Toronto, Blues, Colorado, Ducks, Preds, Pens, Sharks, Dallas. All of those rivalries are dead. Now I don't hate any team.

My favorite teams is Calgary
My second favorite teams is Montreal and Pittsburgh
My least favorite team is...used to be Edmonton (getting back to that but mostly I pity their fan base. Bring back the BOB) Vancouver would be my current least favourite team and I always have space in my least favourites for Toronto. Also, any team that Cory Perry plays on.

Favourite team is Calgary Flames
Second favourite is Ottawa Senators
Most hated is Montreal Canadiens

Second favorite Phily least like or hated Nashville.

Favorite: Pens
Second: was Chicago (back in the Savard/Secord/Wilson day), then Detroit(Yzerman era), now...Vegas (all about MAF and Tuch)
Least: I can’t stand the NHL’s choices in broadcast teams on NHLNETWORK and NBCSN.

My favorite team is the Pittsburgh Penguins. Been a fan since late 1980s when I visited the city for the first time and was "adopted" into Pens fandom by my extended family a few seasons before the 1st Cup.

My second favorite team is the LA Kings. I really loved the aggressive, hard hitting style they won their Cups with over the past decade.

Close behind in 3rd is Vegas. Love the arena atmosphere and the fast, skill hockey they play. The excitement and energy being in Vegas for a game is intoxicating.

My least favorite teams are unsurprisingly Philly and Washington, but even watching those teams play is better than watching any other sport.

2nd: Wild
Hated: Rangers or Flyers. Hard call

My father absolutely hated the Flyers - took the view (echoed by Ken Dryden in The Game) that they were a dark stain on the game.

So I had that in my DNA.

But damn, I loved watching Lindros. The most exciting player I have ever watched, and that includes Gretzky and Lemieux. He might score a goal, or he might kill a player and his entire family with a body check or fight.

I miss Maple Leaf Gardens for a lot of reasons, but top of the list was the energy you would feel as you emerged from the College subway station.

It was always electric when Lindros (and his orange-clad teammates) were in town. We all knew we were going to see something special.

2nd favorite: Habs (I live in Montreal)

Least favorite: Flames always top the list but the Canucks' fanbase is outrageously annoying. At least the fans in Calgary know their hockey. Canucks fans have no clue (I lived in Van too, everything people say about the non-hockey knowledge fanbase in Van is true). NOTE: the team is getting fun to watch with all of their bright young stars

Favorite: the Buffalo Sabres

Second: no team is remotely close to Buffalo, but I like some other teams on a transient basis. I like to rams that have solid management and engaged fans. I had to think about Detroit, NYR, and Colorado, but at this time the Calgary Flames are my number two (that doesn’t sound right, oh well).

Despised: the hockey team from Philadelphia (I have not spoken/written that name since 1975. Get on my s#*t list and you stay on it). Honorable Mention: (for the general principle of things) the hockey team from Boston.
