In a 5 division scenario it would be 4 teams from Canada & 3 each from the 4 American divisions for a 16 team playoffs.

American teams will be most at risk given the US poor pandemic containment. Hybrid bubbles & scheduling might be more prudent. Less so in Canada but season start is still far away.

Do not worry. There will be no season.

Western:

Central:
