He was brutal. Seeing his Instagram, looks like he is putting in the effort to come back better. And that may be to make him more marketable to another team.

They went to the Eastern Conference Finals in those jerseys in 1987. They had some rough early years in those jerseys but weren't the worst team in the league. Even during the KC Scouts years the Capitals were worse...

Can we get one with a rita's ice cream patch on it? Why in the world would a team want to remember a time when they were the worst team in sports. They should never, ever wear the green jerseys again!!

Not to brag, but I saw the Boardwalk Bullies play a game. The glass was so bad at Boardwalk Hall it was hard to see thru. The franchise is still alive in Glen Falls NY as the Adirondack Thunder!

Obviously my favorite one off team is the Danbury Trashers of the UHL which featured NHL Great Rumun Ndur and was owned by a convicted mafia crime boss... Really great story if you ever get the chance to read about their adventures. They use to bring in strippers to have a 'dance contest' on the ice between periods. The clothes stayed on but the it was a crazy atmosphere.

I'm not one to put much thought into the fashion/style aspect of the game, but I must admit, the reverse retro is an absolute 10/10. Maybe a retro Blackwood to hang next to the Brod's would spruce up the basement bar.

The jersey is great. Classic look and making green the main color really works for it.

However, my favorite of the bunch is the Islanders jersey which is just the same as their normal jersey. You gotta love Lou and saying "(frank) you" to all of the extra jersey stuff.

Agreed. Wings jersey looks like a practice jersey. Not sure about the Vancouver fade.
I really like most of them though. Pittsburgh is clean, Dallas is fresh, Oilers looks mostly the same but still good. The Canes and Wild were great with the colors and Whalers. Kings was surprisingly decent. Tampa and Chicago were good too. Boston is Boston. Some went more conservative and clean, while others look more creative with some of the "mashups" of more than 1 jersey iteration, plus the different colors. Ours is definitely in the top 3rd for me.
Not sure, but it appears as though some of the crests on our jersey and NYR are lower than the rest?

Hughes, Hischier, Elias... those are the three finalists for my retro jersey.

Yes, but you got it right as the 87-88 season and I just wrote 87. Accuracy counts.

As for the Jerseys the Nordiques and Whaler Jersey's get a lot of love. It would be cool to see something KC Scout or Newark Bulldog related just to change it up; but the Devils Christmas Tree Jerseys (and the retro reverse) seem to get a lot of positive reactions from outside the fan base.

The Newark Bulldogs jerseys were mostly black with white stripes. They could do a great Bulldogs Jersey with the Devils logo and Bulldogs on the shoulders.

All of these are somewhat different to the one Bulldogs Jersey hanging in Prudential Center.
